Twitter Had 14 Million Uniques in March!! Holy Mackerel. When Will It Catch MySpace?

Check this out. In the chart above (provided by Compete.com) you’ll see a comparison of Facebook, Twitters, and Myspace’s traffic. A few things leapt out at me:

• MySpace’s traffic has declined nearly 11.5% over the past year (even though it was up 5% over the past month).
• Between Feb and March of this year (1 month) Twitter grew 77%, from around 8 million to roughly 14 million uniques.
• As explosive as Twitter’s growth has been, Facebook is still putting visable distance on it.

In my opinion Twitter won’t ever catch Facebook, but one question is, will Twitter catch MySpace (who just about a year ago was the most popular chick in school) and when? Also how many of those visitors are actually signing up and using the site, versus just taking an initial look?
