With the Haiti crisis in full swing, modern technology has allowed a quick and easy use to help donate for relief efforts. The Red Cross has a shortcode program setup where you can text HAITI to 90999 and donate $10 to their relief efforts. The charge goes on your mobile phone bill. Needless to say this is a real human event and crisis that you can help with in seconds and to date, $10 million has already been raised via this specific mobile effort.
More information on the campaign itself is here.
